Want To Help Out?
Help tackle the plastic pollution problem at your local beach.
Every piece of plastic you can remove from your local beach is ONE step closer towards a plastic free coastline and maybe it will inspire your friends to do the same! Our planet needs your help to #DitchThePlastic!
We all know that every beach is impacted by plastic pollution, so get your friends together and help make a difference! Once you've collected as much plastic debris as you're able to, any recyclables (like plastic bottles) can be taken to your local recycling depot! You've done it! That's the beauty of people power... if everyone chips in, we can tackle plastic pollution worldwide, together!
- The boring stuff:
All volunteers undertake the litter pick at their own risk and Aquapax are in no way liable for any injury or illness that may be caused or triggered by the Beach Clean. If you are under 16 years of age you must have supervision, please speak to a responsible adult regarding organising the beach clean and any appropriate risk assessment that may be required.
- Protective Clothing!
Where applicable, volunteers should ensure they are wearing suitable clothing to protect themselves from any nasty stuff found on the beach on the day of cleaning,to help to avoid exposure to potential illnesses or injury. In winter particularly, we recommend boots, heavy duty gloves, workwear trousers and heavy duty sleeved upper garments. We also recommend using a litter pick tool. Keep warm too!
- Aquapax are in no way liable for any injury caused; please clean your beach at your own risk and be safe!
- Also remember... Consume responsibly, recycle wherever possible and stay planet conscious!
